With temporary agency work, BSP employs the workers and makes them available to your company: you direct their work as if they were your own staff, while we remain the employer for all purposes. Employment contract, pay, social security contributions, mandatory notifications, absence management: all on us.
Temporary agency work is a regulated activity: written contracts, statutory limits and prohibitions, health and safety duties clearly divided between the agency and the user company. Working with an agency that plays by the rules means never finding yourself on the wrong side of an inspection: that is the first service we provide.
Temporary agency work comes in two forms, and the choice depends on the problem you need to solve:
| Fixed-term | Staff leasing (open-ended) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is designed for | Peaks, seasonal work, cover for absences, fixed-term projects | Stable needs, without increasing your own headcount |
| Duration | Limited in time, with extensions within the limits set by law | No time limit: the worker stays for as long as needed |
| Who is the employer | BSP, in both cases | BSP, under an open-ended employment contract |
| When it makes sense | Pure flexibility | Continuity of the person + flexibility of the contract |
Staff leasing is often the middle step of a natural path: fixed-term agency work → staff leasing → direct hiring, when the company is ready for it.
For clients with several agency workers or with strong seasonal swings, we offer scheduled visits by your BSP contact person at your own premises — at an agreed frequency or during peak periods — to handle attendance, replacements and interviews on the spot. With one difference from the large agencies: the person who comes on site is the same person who selected your workers and who answers the phone, not a role people pass through.
BSP: we are the employer. You receive a single invoice, based on the hours you have approved.
An hourly rate (or a multiplier on the labour cost) set for each profile, in writing, before we start: no hidden costs, no surprises on the invoice.
We replace them within the timescales agreed in the contract. It is a written commitment, not a favour.
No, but the law requires equal treatment with your own employees at the same grade: this is why, when we quote, we always ask which collective agreement you apply. It is the sign that we are doing things properly.
Profile, location, working hours, duration: we take care of the rest.
